Policy Priorities

Australia’s heavy construction materials industry underpins the nation’s economic growth, supplying the cement, concrete and aggregates needed to build and maintain housing, transport, energy, water, defence and social infrastructure.

As the national peak body for the industry, Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) works with governments, regulators and industry stakeholders to develop practical, evidence-based policy that supports investment, productivity, sustainability and long-term resource security.

Our advocacy is guided by three strategic policy priorities that focus on strengthening the industry’s contribution to Australia’s future while supporting responsible environmental outcomes, regulatory efficiency and a safe, skilled workforce.
