Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) congratulates Matt McKenzie on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Boral, effective 1 April 2026.
CCAA Chief Executive Officer Michael Kilgariff said Mr McKenzie’s appointment reflects the depth of leadership capability in Australia’s heavy construction materials sector.
Mr McKenzie is a proven operational leader with more than 25 years’ experience across multiple industries. He has served as Boral’s Chief Operating Officer since July 2025, supporting leadership continuity and performance delivery across the business.
“Mr McKenzie’s long-standing engagement with CCAA through our Victorian State Committee and Council reflects his commitment to the industry, and we welcome the opportunity to continue that engagement in his new role.
“CCAA looks forward to continuing to work with Mr McKenzie on priority issues for the sector, including policy settings that support investment, supply chain resilience and long-term productivity,” said CCAA CEO Michael Kilgariff.
Mr Kilgariff also acknowledged the contribution of outgoing Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Vik Bansal.
“Vik Bansal’s leadership has been significant for the business and for the broader sector, including through his contribution to CCAA, and we wish him every success as he takes on his new Board role with SGH,” Mr Kilgariff said.
